Let’s follow our example of launching a website for our new rocket. Paul is the project manager for the new SL Rocket and is working on getting the product website up so that sales can begin.

His boss is asking for results on the project’s new website, but even though there have been five meetings about it already, not one design or format idea has emerged.

Paul asks himself: “What can I do?”

Just then a respected colleague drops by his office (Kate - she looks calm and collected), and he shares his problems with her.  Kate suggests that they do a cause-and-effect diagram together in order to determine a way for him to produce the results he’s seeking.
